Advertising, like real estate, is highly dependent on location. Passing out flyers headlined, “Our records indicate that you are a homosexual” in the wrong place could earn a punch in the face. In the right place, however, such flyers are more likely to raise awareness than eyebrows.
Martin/Williams Advertising in Minneapolis created the pro-bono campaign for District 202, a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth center in the Twin Cities.
The campaign also boasted a poster (shown here) that read, “You must be this tall and attracted to the same sex to ride this ride.”
