A corporate reorganization in November was the impetus for Kellogg’s consolidation of its U.S. advertising at Leo Burnett, according to a company official.

“Our company has changed quite a bit, and our feeling is [that] by consolidating we improve efficiencies and our focus,” said Karen Kafer, a representative for the Battle Creek, Mich., company.

Kellogg USA last week moved most of its cereal brands to Burnett from J. Walter Thompson, New York, which means all of the company’s domestic advertising is now at the Chicago shop.
