Cox Communications has launched a search for an agency to handle advertising for its new business services division, Cox Work Internet, according to sources.
The Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based client has contacted several Orange County, Calif., shops for its estimated $2 million account, sources said. Those agencies include The Schraff Group, Costa Mesa; T&O/Roberts Mealer, Laguna Hills; Shafer Advertising & Public Relations, Irvine; and Lawrence & Mayo, Newport Beach, said sources.
The agencies sent strategic plans and spending proposals to the client last week.
