Rhymes & Co. Advertising in Houston landed startup Internet service provider AccelerNet after a review of area agencies.
"Of the three agencies we looked at, we felt Rhymes was the best fit based on their size as well as ability to relate to our needs," said Greg Candelaria, the Houston client's vice president of sales and marketing. Billings were undisclosed.
Candelaria said advertising will focus on the Houston market, but the company plans to expand to at least 13 other major cities nationwide.
The win is the second in three months for Rhymes. In November, the shop landed the advertising account of Monterey's Tex-Mex and Little Mexico restaurants, according to agency president Felix Rhymes.
