McCann Joins Race for Mattel’s $50 Mil. Duties
LOS ANGELES—McCann-Erickson in San Francisco last week emerged as the fourth roster shop invited to pitch creative for Mattel’s boys/entertainment, infant and pre school licensed entertainment properties, and global assignments. Mattel works with McCann in international markets. Also vying for the work, which has combined billings of $50 million, are roster shops Ogilvy & Mather, Culver City, Calif.; Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago and El Segundo, Calif.; and Young & Rubicam, Irvine, Calif.
