Carl’s Jr. Pulls Rodman Spot





LOS ANGELES–Carl’s Jr. Restaurants has pulled its TV spot featuring Dennis Rodman due to negative comments the basketball star made about the Mormon religion. ‘Rodman’s flamboyant and outrageous behavior was part of his appeal initially,’ said a spokesperson for Carl’s Jr. ‘But when it includes derogatory comments about another race or religion, we had to draw the line.’ The advertising was created by Mendelsohn/Zien Advertising in Los Angeles.
