WSJ Solicits Branding Ideas
NEW YORK–The Wall Street Journal is conducting what a representative last week described as an “informal review” of its ad account, currently split between Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston and J. Walter Thompson in New York. Marketing executives at the newspaper have recently solicited branding ideas from Hill, Holliday and JWT as well as other agencies, said Wall Street Journal representative Celia Currin. The review stems from a merger of the paper’s trade and circulation marketing departments, she said.
