JWT, Tonic 360 Win Sun’s $100 Mil. Business

SAN FRANCISCO—J. Walter Thompson USA and interactive agency Tonic 360 won the $100 million Sun Microsystems ad account last week, in a decision ending Sun’s relationship with Lowe Lintas & Partners. JWT and Tonic beat out the Martin Agency, Richmond, Va., in the review. Martin is a Lowe affiliate under the Interpublic Group. Sun, based in Palo Alto, Calif., sells hardware, software and services to Internet businesses.
