Hill, Holliday Survives First Union Cut
BOSTON–Three agencies have moved into the final round of the $5-8 million review for First Union Corp.’s wholesale financial products division. They are Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston, and New York shops Citigate and Brouillard Communications, a unit of J. Walter Thompson, sources said. Ingalls Advertising, Boston, and Doremus & Co. and Margeotes/Fertitta + Partners, both New York, did not advance. Pile and Co., Boston, is overseeing the review process and referred questions to client officials, who did not return calls by press time.
