Ritz-Carlton Delays Decision on Finalists
ATLANTA–Daniel Collins, corporate director of marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., said last week that the company would not be designating finalists for its $5 million advertising account until July 15. The client was to have narrowed its field of contenders by July 1. Collins cited the number of agency responses as the reason the decision on finalists was delayed. The hotel’s advertising account had been with Tausche Henderson Drake in Atlanta, which declined to participate in the pitch.
