Jim Beam Awards Global Account to Y&R
CHICAGO–Young & Rubicam in Chicago bested Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., and Publicis, New York, for Jim Beam Brands’ $15 million global account. The Deerfield, Ill.-based liquor marketer’s business was dropped late last year by Fallon McElligott, Minneapolis, which led to the review. Beam credited Y&R’s global network and experience with worldwide brands as key to its decision. New ads are expected by the fourth quarter.
Pillsbury Shifts Brands to DMB&B, Burnett
CHICAGO–D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, New York, picked up approximately $60 million in additional billings from Pillsbury, Minneapolis.
