Bonuses to agency employees appear de rigueur this holiday season, with most of Boston's top agencies spreading holiday cheer with checks.
Most of Arnold Communications' 790 employees will get a little something extra this year, according to chief executive officer Ed Eskandarian.
Ingalls Advertising is also feeling generous, giving a $100 cash bonus to its 175 or so employees. That amount is in addition to the agency's annual bonus given out in January, said Ingalls official David Swaebe.
Some staffers of Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos will receive a holiday windfall, and all are invited to bring a guest to a holiday party at the Four Seasons.
Agency chairman and chief executive officer Jack Connors threw some of his rivals a curve by announcing to employees that Hill, Holliday will be closed from noon on Dec. 24 until Jan. 5. Connors observed, however, that while this sounds like a generous two-week vacation for all, it really translates to only three business days.
