LOS ANGELES High-powered teams from Interpublic Group and Publicis Groupe made additional presentations last week in Detroit in General Motors’ $3.2 billion U.S. media buying review, sources said.

On hand for IPG were holding company chairman David Bell, McCann WorldGroup CEO John Dooner, who is leading the company’s GM pitch as well as a drive to reorganize its media offerings, and Universal McCann chief operating officer Jean Pool, who runs the $600 million GM local media buying unit, LCI.
