NEW YORK–The former CEO of the Cannes International Advertising Festival has joined Euro RSCG in a new business post, the New York-based network confirmed today.

Romain Hatchuel has been named director of global new business at Euro RSCG. In the newly created position, he will work with marketing, strategic and business development teams to identify new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. He is assigned to the Paris office.

Last month, Hatchuel left his festival post after four years of organizing the Cannes Lions Festival and Eurobest Awards.
