Al Aguilar continues to raise his profile while also bringing more attention to the Latino advertising profession.
Aguilar, president and chief creative officer of Bromley, Aguilar & Associates in San Antonio, was chosen president-elect of the two-year-old Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies.
He will officially assume the role in February 1999 from current president Hector Orc’, chairman of La Agencia de Orc’ & Asociados, Los Angeles.
“AHAA is an important voice in the advertising industry. Its leaders have a passion for the business,” said Aguilar.
He was elected at the organization’s semiannual meeting in Miami.
