Despite layoffs and the resignation of creative director Kara Goodrich last week, Leonard/Monahan founder and chairman Bruce Leonard said he plans to regroup.
“We’re not going away,” Leonard said. “We’ve lost a key account and made the necessary staff reductions, and we’re rebuilding this agency. We’ve had to do this several times in the past, as has every agency in New England, but when this happens my adrenaline gets going and I get more involved.”
Goodrich’s decision to begin freelancing for Leonard/Monahan and other shops followed the agency’s loss of the Polaroid Corp.
