Seattle native Todd Grant, one-half of the team that created the Budweiser lizards at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, is returning to the town where he was born, joining Publicis in the new post of svp, creative director on Aug. 15.

The 42-year-old art director, who had been one of six associate creative directors at Omnicom Group’s Goodby, will primarily work on the Publicis Groupe shop’s T-Mobile account. T-Mobile spent about $345 million on ads in 2003, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

Grant reports to president and executive creative director Bob Moore.
