SFGT in Philadelphia has assigned David Fox to the newly created position of director of promotional strategy, responsible for the development of consumer and sales promotions, new product planning, sponsorship, channel and retail activation, media leverage and other below-the-line activities. Previously, Fox was vice president and senior account supervisor at Thomas J. Paul in Rydal, Pa., where he managed the Dove Chocolate and M&M's accounts. Before that, he was a principal and held the title of chief brainstormer at PowerPact in Richmond, Va., handling clients including General Mills, Brown-Forman, Diageo, Capital One, Best Buy, Aventis, Yum Brands, Lexus, Volvo and Wal-Mart.
