Foote, Cone & Belding/Chicago won three, for Coors Extra Gold, Caliente fragrance and Partnership for a Drug Free America (shared with four other agencies). Young & Rubicam/Chicago won for Andersen Consulting work; J. Walter Thompson/Chicago won a Gold for its work for Gerber; Ogilvy & Mather/Chicago for Illinois Tourism; Leo Burnett, Chicago, won for Beef Industry Council; BBDO Chicago took a Gold for its pitch to smokers for Wm. Wrigley; DDB Needham Chicago won for its Discover Card work; CME-KHBB/Minneapolis, for Consumers Power; Bender, Browning, Dolby & Sanderson, Chicago, won for Midwest Express; Keroff & Rosenberg, Chicago, won for Flowers Direct; Rhea & Kaiser, Naperville, Ill., won for Buctril herbicide; MARC, Pittsburgh, for HealthAmerica.
