Representatives from the 60-member North Texas Ford dealer group met last week in Dallas to begin a review of their estimated $20 million advertising account.
Bob Thomas, vice president, North Texas Ford Dealer Advertising Fund (FDAF)–the committee responsible for marketing activities–confirmed the review and said the group hopes to have a new agency on board in January.
Thomas said Ford factory agency J. Walter Thompson, Detroit, would be considered, along with other shops. “Our search will go beyond the Dallas area.
