The estimated $150 million media account for the national rollout of the billion-dollar federal anti-drug advertising initiative has been awarded to Bates USA of New York. That word came last week from officials at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
As anticipated [Adweek, May 11], Zenith Media, which is 50 percent owned by Bates, will place all advertising for the national rollout, called Phase II, which is currently scheduled to begin this July.
