Kraft Foods has assigned Foote, Cone & Belding here responsibility for a new line of California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizzas that the company will begin test marketing in the fourth quarter.
Northfield, Ill.-based Kraft in August struck a licensing agreement with the Los Angeles-based, 80-unit California Pizza Kitchen restaurant chain.
FCB already handles Kraft’s DiGiorno and Tombstone pizza brands, which received ad support of approximately $15 million and $12 million, respectively, in 1997, according to Competitive Media Reporting.
