MINNEAPOLIS – Executives at the Ameritech Small Business Services division heard pitches last week for its estimated $20-million advertising account from three of the four agencies invited to compete. Fallon McElligott/Minneapolis declined to pitch the account, deciding instead to focus on its newly won Ameritech corporate business, an agency spokesperson said. Fallon’s departure still leaves DDB Needham Chicago, Foote, Cone & Belding/Chicago and incumbent Lintas:Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich., and Chicago.
