CHICAGO Enterprise Rent-A-Car has sent requests for proposals to nine agencies in a bid to make its incentive, direct mail and other below-the-line marketing programs more uniform, according to a company representative.

The representative declined to identify agencies that received the RFP, but said the company was limiting the search to its hometown of St. Louis. The work had previously been done in a variety of manners, including in-house and on a project basis, she said.
