Doubleclick Adds to Senior Management

NEW YORK -- DoubleClick, a New York-based online ad technology company, has created two new senior-level positions to strengthen its strategic services and global technical services divisions.

Eric Kirby joins as vice president and general manager of DoubleClick's strategic services group. Reporting to chief marketing officer Susan Sachatello, Kirby, 32, will oversee a 12-person team. The strategic services group offers DoubleClick customers analysis and recommendations on their marketing programs based on research and data.

Prior to DoubleClick, Kirby co-founded and served as CEO of Veripost, an e-mail marketing technology company where he lead business development, marketing and financial activities. The Superior, Colo.-based outfit merged with Return Path in Oct. 2001.

DoubleClick has also hired John Rehl as vice president of global technical services. He will lead a 200-person global customer support team.

Rehl, who will report to DoubleClick president David Rosenblatt, has spent 19 years managing and leading organizations in the high-technology sector. Most recently, Rehl, 40, was svp of customer support at Software AG, where he oversaw 100 support professionals.
