WongDoody Gives Chain a Western Hero
LOS ANGELES – Less than a month after landing its estimated $5-10 million account, WongDoody this week unveils a campaign for regional Mexican-style fast-food chain Del Taco.
The Seattle shop, working with its Santa Monica, Calif., office, introduces an Old West-style hero whose mission is to bring “better Mexican food to the people.” Teaser ads break this week, and a full TV, radio and print effort will run for at least six weeks, and possibly throughout the year.
