NEW YORK--Eduardo Fernandez Ribeiro has been named president of DDB Latin America with responsibilities for the region and a new Latin American management team.
Fernandez, 43, who will relocate to DDB Latin America's Miami headquarters in the fall, was previously president of Slogan DDB in Uruguay. He succeeds Darryl Lindberg, who left DDB earlier this year.
Joining Fernandez on the new management team is Tita Navia, 39, formerly executive vice president of DDB Worldwide, Columbia S.A.'s office in Cali, Columbia. Navia's role is director of multinational accounts for Latin America, a new position.
Doris Walczyk, 35, leaves New York but remains director of business development for DDB Latin America. Steve Burton, 48, will be chief operating officer, but remain in New York. --from staff reports
