Daniels, LoConte Join for Production With Kilowatt Films

Producer Kim Daniels and director/designer Maria LoConte have formed commercial production house Kilowatt Films, which will specialize in live-action spots.

Prior to launching Boston-based Kilowatt, Daniels spent four years at September Productions, most recently as head of production. Her career began nearly a decade ago in the broadcast unit of ad agency Houston Herstek Favat, Boston (now part of Arnold), and she has worked on ads for Clairol, Excedrin, Kodak and others.

LoConte has maintained a design company called LoConte 2 and in the 1990s was a principal in LoConte Goldman.
