Berlin, Cameron & Partners, New York, hit the ground running, winning its first pitch since opening its doors in November. The agency, formed when Andy Berlin and six executives from Fallon McElligott Berlin broke ties with its Minneapolis parent, bested Lowe & Partners/SMS and McCann-Erickson for a Reebok running-shoe assignment. Not bad for a startup. Then again, the fourth agency to bear Berlin's name--with $100 million in client billings--can hardly be called a startup. "Clients joke with us all the time, 'What's the name this week?,'" says Izzy DeBellis (l.), 33, who is creative director, along with Jason Peterson (r.), 29. "If you do it right, there is no interruption to the client. Eventually, all business ends up being about relationships."
