BOSTON--Irma S. Mann, Strategic Marketing has been recommended to handle the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority's $1-1.5 million advertising account.
"They made the most persuasive case," said client representative Andy Antrobus. "They had a lot of experience in the industry. That was critical in the end."
The Boston-based agency defeated crosstown shops Clarke Goward and DiBona Bornstein & Random, and Lane Advertising, Salem, Mass. The 15-year incumbent, CC and D Communications, Boston, closed its doors this summer.
The authority's board of directors is expected to approve the selection committee's recommendation and sign the shop to a three-year contract in the next few weeks.
