Ripples from the scandal involving President Clinton and his alleged dalliance with White House intern Monica Lewinsky have–you guessed it–reached into the world of advertising.
While Clinton confidant Vernon Jordan last week denied telling Lewinsky, 24, to lie about a relationship with the president, he did admit to helping her get interviews at American Express, Revlon and New York-based Young & Rubicam Inc.
Sources said Jordan was a Y&R client for many years in the ’70s and ’80s through pro bono work the shop did for the United Negro College Fund and the National Urban League.
