Ciavarra Design Prepares to Launch InSupport

Ciavarra Design has been hired by InSupport Technology Group for marketing chores.

The agency was selected following a review of undisclosed contenders. Ciavarra becomes the first agency for Boston's InSupport, an IT services startup that offers technical-support functions to corporations based on fixed fees.

Ciavarra will develop a brand positioning as InSupport prepares to formally launch this summer.

Ciavarra is helping the client to devise a plan playing off the theme "Completely predictable." The goal is to portray the client as a reliable, cost-effective and stress-free outsource alternative that can keep critical computer systems up and running under virtually any circumstances, said Paul Cia varra, president of the Boston-based shop.

Print, direct and collateral materials, as well as a Web site, are all in the mix, Ciavarra said.

Initial spending will probably be in the high six figures for an effort targeting mainly smaller and mid-size companies in the legal, accounting and financial fields, Ciavarra said.

InSupport is the second recent integrated assignment for Ciavarra, following its April selection by Provident Capital, which asked the agency to reposition the investment bank's overall brand and craft image work for its First Healthcare Partners subsidiary.

"We've always looked for that—a complete package" in terms of leveraging design expertise to work with clients across a spectrum of marketing needs, Ciavarra said.
