CHICAGO Community America Credit Union has tapped Callahan Creek to handle its advertising after a review, according to the agency.
"Callahan Creek has a reputation for driving results for their clients," said Jean Hughes, vice president of marketing at the Lenexa, Kan., client, in a statement. "As a member-owned financial institution, we believe we have created something unique in the financial services industry in the Kansas City community."
The Lawrence, Kan., shop will handle creative, media and other marketing for the credit union. Contenders and billings for the account were not disclosed.
"Community America has expressed a desire to pursue traditional and nontraditional ways to reach consumers," said Tom Tholen, vice president of strategy and planning at the agency, in a statement. "We'll work closely with them to provide insightful strategy and innovative ways to communicate with potential members."
The credit union's previous agency was a shop known as The Collaboration in Kansas City, Mo., according to a client representative. Community America claims more than $1.5 billion in assets and more than 122,000 members.
