CHICAGO Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett has begun a search for a new U.S. chief creative officer to replace Cheryl Berman, according to the agency. Berman is expected to remain with the company as chairman.

The search is expected to take six months to a year, according to an agency representative. During that time, she will continue to lead the agency’s U.S. creative operations. Day-to-day creative oversight on the agency’s accounts will remain with seven group creative heads named last July.
