SAN FRANCISCO SF Interactive, a division of Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, has promoted media director Andy Sims to director of interactive marketing services.

In the newly created role, Sims, 31, will oversee the 20-person interactive and direct-marketing unit, which was bought by BSSP in January 2003 [IQ Daily Briefing, Jan. 28, 2003]. He absorbs some responsibilities previously held by former SF Interactive CEO and president Bruce Carlisle, who became BSSP president after the sale and left at the end of March.
