BBDO Wins U.S. Assignment from Wolverine

CHICAGO – Wolverine World Wide Inc., based in Rockford, Mich., awarded advertising for its Wolverine Boots and Shoes brand, which includes the Durashocks line, in the United States to BBDO/Chicago last week. The account is estimated at $2 million. BBDO also handles the company’s Wilderness brand, a line of rugged outerwear footwear, overseas. BBDO will also handle the U.S. launch of the Wilderness brand, scheduled for fall, 1993. Fallon McElligott, Minneapolis, parted ways with Wolverine last summer.
