The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is looking for heroes, and Gillespie, a subsidiary of Interpublic Group’s McCann-Erickson, is rushing to the rescue.

In a new print ad that broke last week, four Port Authority police officers appear under the copy, “Who says a super hero has to wear a cape?” The officers represent the three branches of the Port Authority’s police force: police work, firefighting and emergency service.

One of the officers featured in the ad is K9 member David Lim, who was trapped under the rubble of the World Trade Center in the Sept.
