Atlanta's Clockwork Is Added Latecomer In Ritz-Carlton Race

As the review for the Ritz-Carlton Corp. reaches its stretch run, an Atlanta agency has joined the list of finalists for the $5 million advertising account.
Clockwork Advertising officials reported last week that they had been added to the list of finalists that already included three Atlanta agencies--Broadus & Associates, Fitzgerald & Co. and Sawyer Riley Compton--as well as Leslie Advertising, Greenville, S.C., and The Zimmerman Agency, Tallahassee, Fla.
Client officials, who will hear final pitches this month, want to name a new agency by early September.
The incumbent for the luxury hotel chain is Tausche Henderson Drake, Atlanta, which has held the business for 12 years. THD opted not to participate when the account was put in play. --Jim Osterma
