An unsung hero in the new business department of Arnold Communications was promoted last week to senior vice president of marketing.
Melissa Lea has worked closely for the past three years with Arnold chief marketing officer Fran Kelly, helping to orchestrate pitches for such clients as The Hartford, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Century 21, Seagram Americas, Polaroid, Nova and Hush Puppies.
“Melissa is one of the most resourceful, responsive and successful new business talents in the business,” Kelly said in a statement.
Lea first worked in advertising at Scali McCabe Sloves and Grey Entertainment & Media in New York, which she left to get a degree at Boston College Law School.
