Andy Morris Picks Up PR Wins

NEW YORK Andy Morris & Company has added architecture and design consultancy firm WalkerGroup and restaurant Salon Mexico to its public relations client roster.

For WalkerGroup, Andy Morris will create a media- and events-driven campaign promoting the firm's EnviroBrand design process, which helps clients push their branding messages through office design. The New York agency picked up the account following a review against undisclosed shops.

Based in New York and Los Angeles, WalkerGroup has worked with clients such as AT&T, MTV, FAO Schwartz and Disney.

For Salon Mexico, Andy Morris will create a media-driven publicity campaign to promote the restaurant's food, drink and entertainment offerings. Agency principal Judith King became familiar with the restaurant through its proximity to its offices and approached owner Alan Kaplan about getting Salon Mexico more publicity.

"They had the best margaritas, and I was wondering, why is this place not more crowded?" King said. Work will include media relations, publicity campaigns that include booking local TV appearances and promotional events such as "tequila tastings."

Fees for the two clients were not disclosed.

Other clients of the 2-year-old Andy Morris include Pfizer, Key Energy, The Fortune Society and the National Geographic Channel.
