Cartel Creativo, San Antonio, and client JCPenney have teamed to create a tribute poster for slain Tejano star Selena. One thousand posters were donated to the Selena Foundation. Proceeds from sales of the poster will fund scholarships for Hispanic students.

Martin & Martin, Little Rock, recently completed a repositioning campaign for Delta Regional Medical Center, a 268-bed hospital in Greenville, Miss. The advertising effort includes television, radio, print and collateral.

NEW MEXICO
Rick Johnson & Co., Albuquerque, has received two first-place prizes at the New Mexico Public Relations Society of America's 1997 El Conquistador Awards. The winning entries were a public relations effort for Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus and an annual report created for United World College.
Strascina & Partners, Albuquerque, has promoted Terry Kocon to production director. Kocon joined the agency in 1986.
