Loyal Business Machines, an office equipment dealer based in Babylon, has contracted Progressive Marketing Group in Melville to handle advertising, marketing and publicity.
McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York, has won the consolidated advertising assignment for Reckitt & Colman in Europe. The creative-only assignment, estimated at around $40-45 million in billings, was previously split between Euro RSCG and McCann. The move is part of a previously announced consolidation of the client's global brands at McCann, said an R&C representative in Europe. McCann will handle the business through its London office.
The commercial real estate group of Daiwa Securities America has chosen Grybauskas Beatrice as its agency of record. The New York-based shop's print campaign, carrying a "Daiwa-financing ideas" tagline, will run nationally beginning in September.
Richard Gersh Associates, New York, has added Take 2 Interactive Software, a developer and marketer of video games, to its investor relations roster.
The Caribbean Tourism Organization has chosen New York-based Mezzina/Brown and its affiliate, M/B Interactive, to develop relationship marketing programs to promote travel to its 32 member countries. The assignment will include enchancements to the client's Web site.
Grey Advertising, New York, has acquired Siebel Marketing Group, a full-service collateral design and promotional company, also located in New York. The 34-year-old SMG provides a variety of below-the-line services that include the development of point-of-purchase displays, packaging, and sales incentive and promotional programs. SMG will continue to operate as an independent unit, headed by chairperson Gretchen Siebel and president Gretchen Mannix.
Bruce Soloway, formerly an executive producer and director with ABC News' advertising and promotion group, has launched a new creative enterprise, SoloVision Inc., in New York.
Bozell Sawyer Miller Group, New York, was retained by the Hilton Head Island (S.C.) Chamber of Commerce to provide public relations support.

CONNECTICUT
Publicitas Advertising Services, Stamford, was designated an official newspaper information source for Media Market Resources. PAS joins other data sources, including Arbitron, Media Audit, Nielsen and Scarborough, as a chosen source for MMR's multimedia market profiles.
TLP East, the Wilton-based extension of TLPartnership in Dallas, was selected agency of record for Heineken USA's promotional activities. TLP was also named a consultant for all efforts involving the annual Telluride Festival sponsorship of Amstel Light.

Steelite International, a Stoke-on-Trent, England-based manufacturer of tableware for the food service industry, has selected Wenzel & Co., Pennington, for marketing assignments in connection with its planned expansion in the U.S. market. Wenzel will work directly with Steelite USA, located in Plainfield.

PENNSYLVANIA
New Jersey-based American Health-Fund, a subsidiary of Copelco Financial Services Group, and Leros Technologies Corp. of Fairfax, Va., have assigned their marketing communications accounts to Pat Burns & Co. in Haverford.
