The shop's first assignment is to mass market the re-introduction of "Dawn and Her Friends" fashion dolls from the early 1970's.Italia, Chicago, was named the lead agency for Wintrust Financial. The full-service agency, which also has offices in Dallas and Los Angeles, also recently merged with Skokie-based MSL. Italia retained its name and operations were consolidated at its Chicago office. MICHIGANMolecular Mining named Peterson Williams Bizer, Ann Arbor, lead agency. The Kingston, Ontario, company specializes in computer methods to identify complex molecular interactions.Stone & Simons, Southfield, was awarded a contract by the Michigan Department of Career Development to prepare an advertising campaign promoting the department. The shop was awarded the contact following a competitive bidding process. MINNESOTAThe Minnesota Thunder professional soccer team, selected Russell & Herder, Brainerd, as its lead agency for the 2001 season. Colle+McVoy's public relations group, Minneapolis, has been chosen to handle a national launch of an anti-shedding dietary supplement for Farnam Companies in Phoenix.Bioenergy selected Morgan&Myers, Minneapolis, as its main agency for public relations. The privately held company provides research and global commercialization of ribose-based technology.Geoffrey Carlson Gage, an agency specializing in Web development and advertising in Excelsior, added three new clients. The new businesses are: Carlson Conservatory, a catered restaurant company in Plymouth, Minnesuing Acres, a Radisson-operated lodge in Lake Nebagamon, Wis., and Karlen Real Estate in Plymouth. MISSOURIGundaker Realtors named Adamson, St. Louis, its lead agency for new branding and ongoing marketing programs. Adamson other recent client wins include the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the American Association of Orthodontists and Keller Laboratories. NEBRASKASwanson Russell Associates in Omaha was selected lead agency for Golfsat, a privately held online company in San Diego. OHIOBridge Healthcare, Cincinnati, was named lead agency for Cardinal Distribution. The shop was also selected as the main agency for the National Speaking of Women's Health Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing education on women's health issues.Charter Bank selected Arras Group, an integrated marketing agency in Cleveland, as its main agency to provide strategic and creative work.Lipson Alport Glass & Associates, Cincinnati, created a package design for a new line of frozen entrees for the Boston Market brand. Gerbig, Snell/Weisheimer & Associates, a healthcare marketing company in Columbus, created a charitable fund to provide medical services to senior citizens who can not afford them. The Rojek Marketing Group, Cleveland, renamed the agency to The Rojek Cutcher Group following executive vice president Ralph Cutcher's promotion to principal and partner. WISCONSINCramer-Krasselt's Yellow Pages services division, Milwaukee, added two new branches in Denver and Avon, Minn. The division now operates eight offices. Carrie Dockins will head the Denver operations, while Jill Joseph will manage the Avon office.
