NEW YORK The Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, offices of TBWA International have won the $30 million account of Hypo-Bank following a six-month review. The client, headquartered in Munich, is Germany's fifth-largest bank. Other contenders for the business included Heye & Needham and W†nscher/Rohwer, both of Munich. The bank's former agency, Herrwerth & Partner, also in Munich, was not invited to participate in the review. Roundhouse Public Relations of White Plains was appointed Air France's public relations company in the U.S. The Upstate New York Direct Marketing Association has honored Wolf Group Direct, Rochester, with a runner-up award in its consumer direct mail competition category. Wolf was cited for its Fisher Price/Wal-Mart holiday mailing. LobsenzStevens, New York, has added Siegel Associates International, a company that specializes in U.S.-Japan cross-cultural communications, to its public relations group. Bozell Sawyer Miller Group, New York, has acquired Charles Baker PLC, a London-based public relations company with annual revenues of approximately $11 million. BSMG has projected its 1997 revenues will total more than $70 million. The U.S. Army has renewed its one-year contract that incorporates four option years with The Chisholm-Mingo Group in New York. CMG, a subcontractor to Young & Rubicam, has managed the African American recruitment advertising campaigns for the Army since 1987. The Steven Style Group, a recently established company in New York, was designated the marketing communications agency for Midway Home Entertainment, which produces and markets video games. Warner-Lambert's Parke-Davis division has awarded agency of record responsibilities for its Accupril medication to Lally McFarland & Pantello/Euro RSCG in New York. KCSA in New York has added U.S. Wireless Corp. of San Ramon, Calif., as an investor and public relations client. Kellogg Co. and Medical Science Systems have become clients of Sciens Worldwide Public Relations, New York and Princeton, N.J. CONNECTICUT Stamford-based North Castle Public Relations has added Triarc Beverage Group's Snapple brand to its client roster. NEW JERSEY Ethicon has appointed Simms & McIvor, Branchburg, agency of record for its specialty products division. For the fifth consecutive year, the agency is handling the internal marketing for Johnson & Johnson's U.S. Savings Bond campaign. Danlee Public Relations has relocated to 188 East Bergen Place in Red Bank. Roberts Pharmaceuticals, Eatontown, has assigned additional business to Edward Newland Associates, Shrewsbury, naming it agency of record for its managed care division. HBO has tapped The Harrington Group, Morristown, to develop its first-quarter 1998 affiliate promotional campaign. PENNSYLVANIA Bristol-Myers Squibb has awarded the launch campaign for its BMS Home Health Care division to Ted Thomas Advertising, Philadelphia. Schubert Communications, Downing-town, was selected to provide promotional materials and marketing consultation for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Schubert created a variety of print, broadcast and fundraising communications for the June-August event. The University of Pennsylvania Health System of the Delaware Valley has chosen LD&B, Horsham, as its advertising agency of record. LD&B will be responsible for print, radio, television, out-of-home media and direct marketing for the client.
