NEW YORK Abstract Edge has redesigned Clairol.com, marking the first significant revamp of the consumer Web site since the hair-care brand’s purchase by Procter & Gamble in November 2001.

The interactive shop landed the assignment from the Stamford, Conn.-based P&G division in April following a six-week review that included imc2 in Dallas, WDDG in New York and Blast Radius of Vancouver, B.C., sources said.

Imc2, which continues to handle Clairol’s consumer marketing, built the new destination based on Abstract Edge’s design.
