NEW YORK -- Just in time to kick off its 75th anniversary season, Interlochen Center for the Arts has launched a new Web site in keeping with its branding efforts.
The site (http://www.interlochen.org/ ) was designed by 415, a San Francisco Web development firm that won the business late last year without a review [IQ Daily Briefing, Dec. 6, 2001].
Among the features on the site are admissions videos, performance highlights, registration forms and online publications, including the semi-annual Crescendo newsletter and employee and student handbooks. Visitors to the site can also view selected works from visual arts and creative writing students.
The online destination is targeted at prospective students, donors, ticket buyers and alumni, said 415 executive producer Kathy Turner, who worked with a six-person team to re-work the site.
The lower Michigan-based arts education center completed the site redesign through funding from the Frey Foundation of Grand Rapids, Mich. The budget for the project was not disclosed.
"We hope this is only the first step in a long-term plan to make the site more informative, interactive and reflective of Interlochen's position as a leader in arts education," said Bill Morgan, director of marketing for Interlochen.
