NEW YORK Israel’s Ministry of Tourism has hired 5W Public Relations to help change U.S. government policy in Washington, D.C.

The New York firm’s work on behalf of the Israeli ministry will focus on persuading the U.S. State Department to lift its travel warning to Americans planning visits to the Mid East country.

5W president Ronn Torossian said his company has been awarded a one-year contract by the ministry. While he would not disclose the budget for the contract, Torossian said it is in the six-figure range.
