Client representative John Lampl identified the contenders as independent M&C Saatchi, which is the 10-year incumbent; WPP Group’s JWT; Omnicom Group’s DDB; and Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which is 49-percent owned by Publicis Groupe. The London offices of each network will likely lead the effort.
Lampl could not comment on briefings or a timetable, except to say that a decision is expected in late autumn.
