NEW YORK–Owing to a perceived conflict, Levi’s is shifting its $40-60 million U.S. account from the San Francisco office of TBWA\Chiat\Day to Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York, sources said.

The apparent conflict is Adidas, a global account with billings of $80-100 million that the team of TBWA Worldwide and 180 won several weeks ago, according to sources. In addition to sneakers, Adidas markets sports and golf apparel.

The U.S. hub on Adidas is expected to be the Playa del Rey, Calif.
