Saatchi & Saatchi's head of strategy for the Americas is leaving for another Publicis Groupe shop and Saatchi has filled the role with an insider.

Succeeding Claudine Cheever as chief strategy officer is Wanda Pogue, a Saatchi veteran who most recently was a global planning director on Procter & Gamble's Olay. Her other P&G brand experience includes Tide/Ariel and Head & Shoulders.

Cheever, a New York-based executive who has worked at Saatchi since 2009, will leave the agency by the end of the month.
